Description

If you love the Carolina Beach Boardwalk then you will want to reserve your stay at the "Lime in the Coconut" condo which is literally connected to the Boardwalk. The property is located on the 1st floor. This 2 Bedroom, 2 Bath unit is cozy and comfortable and features elevator access, gated parking, and a most convenient location. There's wide beach out front and a community pool and kiddie pool onsite that are sure to make your vacation even more special. You cannot stay any closer to all the fun than at "Lime in the Coconut", in fact, you might not need your car once you arrive!!

Views abound from your beachfront balcony. Inside you'll find 2 Queen bedrooms and a Queen sized sleeper sofa in the living area. The kitchen in nicely equipped including a blended for your frozen concoctions and a Keurig for your morning coffee. You won't want to miss a spectacular sunrise or the enticing aroma of fresh Britt's doughnuts.

Cabana is a beautiful oceanfront condo style facility connected to the Carolina Beach Boardwalk literally steps away from all the food, fun and excitement! Included with your reservation you will enjoy private beach access on a wide beach front and an oceanside pool. Cabana also provides private gated access for additional security with covered parking and elevator. Note that the Clubhouse is now open to Owners, Guests, and Tenants. This is a great venue for playing cards, foosball, games, or to watch a movie. We have a small share library we hope everyone utilizes. There are books for children and adults

Don't forget to check out all of the other attractions on Pleasure Island including Fort Fisher and the NC Aquarium, the fishing piers, the Carolina Beach Lake and many walking trails. You'll enjoy Thursday night fireworks and the weekend farmer's market at the Carolina Beach Lake, along with outdoor movies and paddle boat rides. Take a surfing lesson, or just ride the waves on a boogie board. You won't want to miss a spectacular sunrise over the Atlantic!

*Please keep in mind that if you are renting a property with a pool during the off-season, it may not be open or available. Pools are usually open from mid- May to September, but dates can vary based on weather, permits, HOA guidelines, inspections, improvements, and unforeseen events. For more detailed information on specific pools, please feel free to contact our office.

Occupancy 6: Saturday to Saturday rental in Summer. Min two night stay other seasons.
Bedding Recap: 2 Queens, 1 Queen Sofa Bed
Parking: All vehicles are required to display an HOA issued parking pass hanging from the rearview mirror not on the dashboard while parked on the property to avoid citation or being towed. Parking fees may apply and will be included in the quoted price if applicable for your reservation. Passes are strictly enforced, and your reservation will include two passes per rental unit that are paid for by the reservation holder. All reservations year round will require parking passes which will be issued to the renter at the time of check in.
Prohibited: Smoking, Pets, Golf Carts

Bryant Real Estate, established in 1952, is a professionally operated firm that is licensed in North Carolina and hired by the property owner to manage “C014 – Lime in the Coconut” as a vacation rental.

Place was clean and nice. Living room ceiling fan wasn’t working and the kitchen area could be a bit larger but for our needs it worked perfectly. Would stay here again.

Overall, we had a decent experience with this condo. It is small but I knew that when I rented it.
Pros- beach access and convince to the boardwalk, beds were also comfy and we had all of the kitchen dishes/appliances we needed.
Cons- ice maker didn't work, no dishwasher, Kuerig leaked. I know that we could have reported the ice maker and coffee machine while we were there but let's face it, who goes on vacation to be incovienced with a repair person? I also don't like having to worry about all of my belongings if I'm not there when they show up. Another con was the lack of parking under the building, we keep all of our chairs, wagon and canapy in the car. This is a pain if you have to tote it across the street with the limited parking onsite. We only brought one car and I had to park across the street often. Also, I accidentally threw away the spare parking pass and asked the office for another when we had a local friend stop by to visit. I was told I could pick it up but there would be a $10 fee, it's a paper tag non-reusable pass. After spending $2100 for a week, I felt this to be a petty charge. Lastly, the bar across the street plays live music on Fridays and Saturdays, this is only a problem if you are trying to go to sleep before 1-2:00 am.

Julia, Thank you for your detailed feedback. We are happy that you enjoyed the beach access as well as the amenities and beds at the property. We appreciate you informing us about the icemaker and coffee maker so we can make sure these items are working for the next guests! Parking on the island is difficult as it is very limited. This condo complex was designed to have parking underneath and across the street which I know can be frustrating at times, but we are happy that the HOA allows for two parking spots whereas some complexes only allow one. We stress the importance of keeping your parking passes hanging in your car at all times due to the towing on the island. We are charged by the HOA for every pass, even though they are paper, so we have to charge the guest for passes if they are lost, etc. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and hope you will visit again soon!

Excited to find this last minutes rental for a week in July. Although we have stayed in this building before, this was our first time using Bryant Real Estate. We loved escaping some of the additional fees that are usually charged by VRBO by booking directly with the property management company.

Loved the location but not sure it was worth the money spent. The rental wasn't all that clean when we arrived. There was a lot of sand on the floors, and various lights weren't working. The lock combo to get from the boardwalk into the complex was sporadic and didn't work as I was trying to get back to the unit after a storm came through. I and others had to go to the next condominium just to get out of the storm. Other than this, it was an enjoyable stay!

It was OK- they only thing was the floors were sandy when we arrived like they had NOT been cleaned.

Based on our notes, it does not look like you notified us of this when you checked in. Please note that we have staff available 24/7 to assist with any issues that arise. Pros:We loved the location on the boardwalk. We were able to park for the week and only leave one time. The unit was very nicely decorated and appointed. It had all dishes, pots, pans and utensils needed. Cons: Unit is very, very small for 4 adults. The beds, though comfortable, are extremely high. I am 5’1’ and needed to use a 12 pack of pop to get into bed. All in all it was a great stay; we would rent again if it were just myself and my husband and we brought a small footstool!

But ridiculous fees charged by, and no support from, the managing agency.

We were charged more in fees than the unit cost us. Nearly $400 in fees for two nights.
We had to clean the whole place before we left. Trash cans had to ge emptied even, I mean what a trash management company.

To reiterate; the apartment was lovely. The owners should be happy with their location. They should also be looking for a different management/extortion agency.

We only ask that guests please remove any sheets/ towels off beds, remove your trash from the trash cans, and wash/ put away any dishes you've used. You are charged a "Hospitality fee" for linens and cleaning services upon your departure. All fees are available to be seen before booking any reservations with us. We appreciate your feedback about the condo, the new owners of the property have truly put in a few personal touches to make all their guests feel comfortable and at home while visiting paradise. The place we got was very nice, clean and just perfect oceanfront viewing. The transition of renting room was quick and very easy. Overall we plan on doing business with Bryant Real Estate again from now on!
