Get DirectionsThe annual Battleship Half Marathon, 10K and 5K is a popular running event that attracts active visitors from all across the county and beyond. Not only do participants enjoy the gorgeous Carolina Coast and views of naval history, but also get a great workout.
This annual race attracts tons of runners, walkers and joggers of all ages and abilities, and all three events of the Battleship Half Marathon, 10K and 5K launch from one of Wilmington’s favorite attractions, the Battleship North Carolina in the heart of the downtown area. Participants can register for any of the three races, and each event has finisher medals as well as entry to the post-race party that will cap off a fun day of exploring the city on foot. Advanced registration can be easily completed online, and the cost to enter varies based on the individual event. With a town-wide course and celebration that will get anyone’s heart racing, the Battleship Half Marathon, 10K and 5K is a great way to join in the fun of the active Cape Fear community.
