"A Second Wind" features 2 Queen beds and 1 King bed, to comfortably sleep 6 family members or friends. The home is nicely outfitted for meal prep or relaxing after a long day at the beach. Relax with the family enjoying the big game on the cable TVs, or bring some of your favorite movies to watch on the DVD player. There are 2 full bathrooms to accommodate the crowd, and a large back porch where you can enjoy spending quality time with those you love. There is easy parking underneath the unit for 2 cars and lots of space to store your beach chairs and toys. This building also has an elevator. Don't wait, get "A Second Wind" today!

Ocean Dunes is an ideal year-round vacation spot for families! Located at the southern end of Pleasure Island, in Kure Beach next to Historic Fort Fisher, Ocean Dunes occupies one mile of beachfront with several private beach walkways. Included with your reservation is access to all the amenities Ocean Dunes offers, as well as the Recreation Center. Amenities include three outdoor pools, a children's playground, tennis courts, a basketball court and a shuffleboard court. The Recreation Center has an indoor pool, whirlpool/spa, gym, saunas, and showers. For Recreation Center Hours and Information, call 910.239.1370.

Don't miss the historic Fort Fisher area, and of course the NC Aquarium is a wonderful place to explore. The newly remodeled visitor center has exhibit space, a 100-seat orientation theater, gift shop, and a multipurpose room suitable for rentals such as banquets, wedding receptions, etc. and the best part is this property is within walking distance! You'll want to dine out at some of our outstanding restaurants and visit the Boardwalk in Carolina Beach for fireworks on Thursday Nights and Britt's Doughnuts anytime. There is a local farmers market at the lake each Saturday morning, and outdoor movies on Sunday evenings. You'll never be bored on Pleasure Island.

*Please keep in mind that if you are renting a property with a pool during the off-season, it may not be open or available. Pools are usually open from mid- May to September, but dates can vary based on weather, permits, HOA guidelines, inspections, improvements, and unforeseen events. For more detailed information on specific pools, please feel free to contact our office.
