It was wonderful staying so close to the ocean and being able to hear the waves as you sleep. The only thing wrong with the condo is that the mattresses need to be replaced. I believe the bed in the bedroom is a double, not a queen

We had a fantastically wonderful time. Condo was really nice. Quiet respite from the chaos of life. Took the ferry to Southport and had a great time. Came back and totally relaxed. Would get this condo again.

Beautiful view on the quieter end of Kure beach. We had a wonderful time enjoying the view, shell hunting (most unbroken shells I have ever found. Having a full kitchen cut down on Costa and we enjoyed watching a few movies. Many amenities including a pool and beach equipment. We were also able to keep up on laundry with the apt sized laundry facility.

Very relaxing trip made better by this lovely location!

Gorgeous views and cozy stay. This is our 4 time at the Riggings. We usually stay in N-2. But this condo has the best view of all. Thank you for allowing us to share your property. Definitely a must visit again!

This was a lovely place to vacation. The only downside was the construction going on and the workers wanting to come through our condo to reach the roof. It made me slightly nervous to have strangers coming in and out. I would have chosen different dates I'd I had known that was going on. Aside from that, it was a great place and I intend to return. P3 is the condo that started my family's love of Kure beach 15 years ago. When our kids were little we stayed in this unit every summer for 5 years in a row. After spending 10 years staying in bigger places around the island, we decided to return home to P3. There truly is no better view on the Island. The condo was just as clean and fully equiped as it had been in the past. The only negative, as mentioned in other comments, is the bed. It was so hard and uncomfortable!

I’ve been vacationing in the Carolina Beach area since 1989 and have stayed in the “Riggins” complex 5 or 6 times. There is no surprise because all the units are basically the same. I like P3 because of being an end unit with southern exposure and closeness to the ocean. I have only 2 complaints. First, the steps at the bottom had several nail heads protruding. NOT GOOD FOR BARE FEET! Second, a mouse was in the living room area! It went under the couch and I couldn’t find it the last night we were there (however my friend thought she heard it earlier in the week). We didn’t extend the ”hide a bed” so maybe that is where it lives? (BTW – someone needs to move and clean under the couch. It’s nasty). Last, I understand the 4p check-in thing but if the unit electric lock doesn’t allow entry till after 4p does it really matter when the paperwork is picked up at the reality office? I was just one of several people waiting at your office and most I talked to were NOT HAPPY! Just sayin’

The location is fantastic, and the unit overall is fine. The queen mattress in the master bedroom is in a word; AWFUL. I stayed 3 nights and cannot imagine what my back would feel like after a week on that monstrosity.

Living area was fine and had everything I needed, but unless the mattress is updated, I don't see myself staying at this unit again.

Even tho it was during pandemic the aquarium museum and ferry were closed but we had a fantastic time it’s the closet I’ve been to the water! Was absolutely beautiful! A tv would be nice to have in bedroom. We will definitely be returning!

The overall stay was okay, I have rented from this company before with no issues. This unit however I would not rent again unless some simple updates are done. The dryer needs replacing (desperately), the bunk bed ladder was broken, the kitchen utensils were so cheap they were barely functional (can opener, silverware, knives). These are very inexpensive fixes that the owner should address immediately. The queen mattress also needs replacing and the bathroom vanity drawers are warped and are difficult to open. I didn’t complain about these issues during my stay because frankly I don’t expect rentals to be perfect—but these issues need to be addressed before I would rent again. I’ve stayed in other units in this complex that were better equipped.

The location was absolutely amazing, couldn’t have been closer to the beach. The place was clean but a bit tired and in need of a little TLC. This wasn’t a big issue as we were out and about, and overall we had a great weekend. The views and location made up for anything lacking in the property.

We love Kure Beach area. Some things about the rental, were not in top shape, but it did not affect our stay that much. The internet did not work, or the cable TV. The shower is very dark, it is enclosed with no light, therefore very dark and rather slippery. would we rent again? Yes! We love sitting out on the balcony and walking on the beach.

Can't beat the location for a low key get away. At high tide you are practically in the ocean. At low tide you can walk down the beach among the barrier rocks and into the state park picking for shells.

Other activities require a bike trip or short drive. State park, national historical site, and aquarium are a walk/bike ride away. Shopping, restaurants a short drive. Went with my 2 kids (early teens) and it was perfect for us.

Beautiful views great location. Central air was not working right average temperature was 84 degrees. We also had cockroaches. Don't think it's fair to pay for a rental that is not in full working order. We were told it was a prior issue so how do you rent a location when you know something is broken.they apologized but it didn't get fixed.

Trip to Kure Beach

Good place. Older,but typical beach property. The only issue I had was the rental company gave me two door codes to enter the property. Neither one worked. When I called the after hours emergency maintenance number,David helped me get in quickly and without issue. David was probably the nicest most professional person I dealt with directly within the rental agency.

There are a lot of condos in Kure Beach, however none have the view like Brennan's on the Beach. Being the southern most condo and located on the top floor, the views of Fort Fisher State Park during the day and the constellations during the night are simply breath taking.

This was our very first trip to the beautiful Kure Beach and we were not disappointed. We stayed at Brennan's on the Shore and we loved every single thing about it...especially the spectacular view. The condo was beautifully decorated from front to back, the kitchen was well stocked with the needed cooking/eating utensils and the beds were super comfortable. We spent our days relaxing on the beach or pool side and our nights exploring the many wonderful offerings of the island. The memories we made will forever be cherished!

The location was perfect! Only a few miles from the Kure Beach Pier and 1/2 mile from the NC Aquarium at Fort Fisher. The pool was great to have right in the center of the property and close to the beach access. The view was magnificent in P3 as you could see miles left and right and look down with the waves crashing on the beach directly below. The emails with information saved us a lot of time when someone had accidentally grabbed our packet of information and we could still access the house and internet via the information from the email. It would be nice to have someone at the check in/out area 24/7.

Overall, very pleasant. Lots of long walks on the beach, wading in the surf, and excellent dinners at Jack Mackerels restaurant. The condo was comfortable.

Very much enjoyed the location of the property. The unit is the last unit on the south side of Kure Beach, so the view from the balcony is spectacular, along with the continued roll of the ocean waves. At times it was like being directly over the ocean. Comfortable, cozy unit with any amenities needed for cooking. Thank you!!!

An ocean trip experience you won’t forget! Stepping out on the deck of "Brennan's on the Shore" will take your breath away with one of the best views from The Riggings complex on the southern end of Pleasure Island. This third floor walk-up condo is unique and equipped with all the basic house amenities you will need.

"Brennan's on the Shore" has the accommodations to sleep 6 with a Queen in the primary bedroom, a Twin bunk in the hall alcove and a sleeper sofa as well. The living room includes a TV with cable and Wi-Fi for your use.

There is assigned parking for 1 car near the unit and 1 additional space in the overflow lot across the street from the complex. Enjoy a swim in the oceanfront pool or a stroll on the beach, using the private beach access for guests of The Riggings. The beach re-nourishment project prohibits any one walking or sitting on the sand bags, they protect our beach.

At the Riggings Condos in Kure Beach, NC, enjoy a quiet escape in a one-bedroom condo with direct beach access. Located on the far south end of Pleasure Island in Kure Beach, this complex is near Fort Fisher aquarium and historic Civil War battlegrounds, and offers a private pool.

This unit is just a short driving distance to the NC Aquarium and Fort Fisher Museum. Enjoy the 30-minute ferry ride over to the quaint little city of South Port. Even though you are down on the end of the island in peace and quiet, you aren’t far away from the Kure Beach Pier or the Carolina Beach Boardwalk.

*Please keep in mind that if you are renting a property with a pool during the off-season, it may not be open or available. Pools are usually open from mid- May to September, but dates can vary based on weather, permits, HOA guidelines, inspections, improvements, and unforeseen events. For more detailed information on specific pools, please feel free to contact our office.
