A great location for a winter weekend away with the family. Very clean and well stocked for a larger group. Just a short safe walk to Kure Beach restaurants and the one bar in town. Small wooden boardwalk in front of the house leads to the beach access a few hundred feet away. Suited our needs.

Of course, we all had a great stay and enjoyed the time away from the real world and the weather could not have been better for a fall weekend. We've stayed at this unit a couple of times over the past few years and it seems it is time for some general maintenance. Upon arrival, our check in was delayed due to a new dryer being installed in the adjacent unit A, and the contractor was using our parking spaces for our unit (B). Parking also might want to be clarified somehow. I don't know how it is marketed, but Unit A had 5 vehicles parked while our unit (B) only supported 3 and one of our party had to find parking elsewhere. Some bath faucets/fixtures and paper/towel holders were loose . Bathtubs and toilets need a good scrub or just replacement due to staining. Kitchen faucet sprayed erratically and noticed ants on countertops. Interior paint and ceilings could use a fresh coat. Screen door doesn't latch and opens freely (good for checkin/out carrying luggage, bad for young children). Internet was slow and tv did not work well (terrible picture/buffering frequently) and one downstairs bedroom did not have a tv. I'm sure maintaining rental properties is a constant challenge but seems like this unit is ready for a refresh. Management would not allow a 1-day shift in stay (Thur-Mon to Fri-Tue) when, according to the property calendar, it was available for a few days after...would only allow to add a day. We were expecting a little higher quality based on previous stays, but all-in-all, we made the most of the stay and tried not to let the minor/temporary issues take away from the getaway.

We appreciate your notes on the items below, however wish you would have informed us of these items during your stay. We would have been happy to send maintenance or a cleaner out to the property to address any of these issues. This property and the adjoining unit are managed by Bryant and both advertise three parking spaces. If your next door neighbor or a vendor was blocking your parking area, we would have been happy to give the guests or vendor a call to remedy the situation had we known. Our maintenance tech is working to address the issues listed above and we also encourage owners to complete improvements and updates in the off season. We do not allow guests to shift their dates after booking as these are the contracted dates with a signed rental agreement. Our cancellation policy does allow a 24 hour period after booking that would allow for such changes.

This is the perfect house, in the perfect location. Two maintenance issues were dealt with immediately. Everyone that I spoke to from Braynt Real Estate were super friendly and helpful. My only suggestion would be to have some plastic drinking cups. I held my breath every time my three year old grandson drank from a glass cup! I can't wait to come back!

The house was perfect location to the beach (access down 2 houses each way, one with a ramp) and right at Kure pier and all the restaurants. The kitchen was fully stocked. The wifi didn’t reach the downstairs tv and when we callled they responded very quickly but were unable to fix it. The place could use a good deep cleaning but overall was ok (we did not call to complain, just wore shoes around the house bc of the sandy floors). We loved being able to bring our dogs, however the grass area next to the house was overgrown and not maintained to be able to walk dogs there and Kure beach does not allow dogs on the beach during the summer which was a bummer. Overall the place was a hit, the company was responsive to our needs and the location can’t be beat!

Wonderful stay very close to the Kure Beach pier. Location is right off of the sand dunes, less than a minute to the ocean. The house was well-kept, clean, and had everything we needed for a 3-night stay. Modern and trendy. WiFi was spotty and kept dropping the streaming tvs, but not really that much of an inconvenience. Had a call for an early check in at 2pm. Would definitely stay again!

This rental has it all. Excellent views, comfortable accommodations, easy access to the beach, plenty of room. We ordered carry out food most of the time because we had the best view available. Sunrises are amazing. We wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in Kure Beach.
If I were to make a suggestion, it would be to add a a couple comfy chairs to the main living area as the sofas can only seat two large adults without squeezing in.

This duplex is ocean front but there is a one lane one way street and a sidewalk between the duplex and the ocean. There was very little traffic and the view was still excellent. The location was convenient to both Kure Beach and Carolina Beach.
The duplex was clean and well maintained.
We were off season and were able to walk with our dog on the beach, she loved it.

The condo was very clean and with modern amenities. We especially appreciated the Roku TVs. Those with aging health conditions might want to reconsider as there are three levels so lots of stairs to climb, otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.

Bureau Unit B is one of the nicest rental home I have stayed in. The wood floors are a plus, instead of carpet that can get nasty. Plenty of room for a family to move around in. The kitchen is spacious and stocked with pots and pans. The home is very clean and in good shape. My favorite is the balconies where I can read a book or just view the peaceful ocean. The only complaint is a squeaky box springs in the bedroom upstairs.
This vacation rental is in a great location near the pier and restaurants. Quiet neighborhood.
The rental management is outstanding in answering any questions that we may have. The downstairs bathtub was slow in draining and after calling to make them aware, help was on its way.
My family and I will certainly rent this beautiful home again.

The house is in a fantastic location with amazing ocean views. The beach access was super convenient and we loved that we could walk on the boardwalk. We enjoyed our stay but there were 2 main things that made our stay less then relaxing. 1) there were several roaches in the master bedroom, one of which we found IN THE BED WITH US. We ended up moving rooms which led to 2) the beds in both upstairs rooms were so squeaky it was hard to get a good nights sleep. The mattresses themselves were decently comfortable but the boxsprings need an update. And I understand roaches are a part of life in NC, however, for the price of this place, I think the least we could ask is they not be in the bed.

The house was exactly what we hoped for. Plenty of space for our family, well equipped and exactly as advertised. The location couldn't have been more ideal, directly across from the beach. The sun rises were gorgeous! We did have one maintenance issue with some lights out, and Bryant Real Estate was very quick to send someone over to get those replaced. We will definitely be back!

Beach Retreat!!

Havent had alot of time away in the last few years because of the obvious! we really enjoy the carolina beach and kure beach area but we havent always picked the nicest places to stay. which brings me to this location. it was amazing, it was only maybe a forth of a mile walk to the kure beach pier which was great considering thats one of our favorite spots to relax eat and play at arcade. the house was very spread out which worked out for a party of 6 because we all had our own space to relax and not be on top of each other. the rooms and bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. the decks we probably spent most of our time on when we were actually at the condo were large and had lots of rockers for relaxing! ill just say it was the perfect place for the perfect get away we needed! We will be going back and hopefully sooner than later!

We enjoyed our stay in this spacious home. With bedrooms on the first and third floors, we all had our privacy. The only drawback was the kitchen needs more equipment if you plan on doing a lot of cooking. It would be perfect for someone who plans on dining out or bringing prepared food in.

The place was perfect, inside and outside! Rooms/beds very comfortable. Large kitchen with everything we needed. Large balcones with chairs and tables where we ate most of the time. Best location too! Loved it! My daughter and her friend... and Georgie her beautiful dog, all want to go back!

Plenty of room at this house. Great location and views. My only issue is when I asked about beach access for dogs I was told dogs were allowed until 9:00am and the after 5:00PM. Actually in Kure Beach dogs are only allowed after September 30th.

Carolina Beach does allow dogs on the beach with a leash prior to 9 am and after 5pm in the prime season, but unfortunately Kure Beach does not.until after September 30th and before April 1st. This is the second year we stayed here for a beach week. The hose is the perfect size for us and in a great location. Like last year, the house was clean and we had no issues. Check in and out was easy and the communication from Bryant was great. We will be back.

Beautiful Home. Very clean. Great Location. Easy Access to Beach. Wonderful vacation. The only issue is this home is not handicap accessible. There are stairs to get into the home. The master bedrooms are a full flight of stairs up. The Laundry room is a full flight of stairs down. If you don't mind stairs, I highly recommend this home.

I did not like that for a very exorbitant rental price, linens, towels and toilet paper was not included in the total price. That is unheard of for a non-refundable rental fee of that level. Location was great. Quality of home was great. The only issue was that basic necessities like sheets, pillow cases, towels and toilet paper had to be brought in by the renter.

Willie thank you for your feedback, as stated on all of the sites, linens are not included for stays less than 5 to 21 nights, so that people can see this before they book their reservations. Now, all of our properties have a roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, that is a standard. We also have a list of th.ings to bring on the website and app. I do hope that you enjoyed your stay and that you will come back to stay next year.

An Easter family get together to remember! Very comfortable setting with good floor plan allows both privacy and gathering space. Attractive, clean and well-maintained. Oceanfront decks provide excellent views. Walking distance to Kure Beach pier, local restaurants; short drive to Southport ferry, Carolina Beach restaurants (Lazy Pirate!) and grocery store.

My brother and I stayed at Burpeau Unit B this past week. Our only regret was having to leave. We loved the quiet seaside town of Kure Beach and preferred it to the better known but more crowded Wrightsville Beach, It was conveniently located near Fort Fisher, the aquarium and Carolina Beach State Park with its Venus Flytrap ranger walk. It was also a comfortable distance to Wilmington attractions. The duplex was clean, attractively furnished, and the kitchen is large and well appointed. I found the beds very comfortable,... mattresses were soft but firm. We ordered extra towels as we like the convenience of extras, but there was a great washer and dryer in the unit. The views from the covered patios was as good as it gets. I even saw a whale surface twice on our last evening there. Our only problem was that the DVD player seemed to be broken and needs replacement. I reported this, but the rental agency did not change it. Cable tv was fairly good with some movies available for streaming. There is a large tv in the living room and small ones in each bedroom. I would definitely rent this unit again if staying in the area. It would be difficult to beat. I preferred Unit B to Unit A, which I was told rents more frequently. The large house next door didn’t bother me and somehow Unit B seemed more private. I also preferred the decor, as did my neighbor who was renting unit A.

The house was good, very comfortable with a terrific location . It was also priced very reasonably. The cleanliness was disappointing. One set of sheets was left on a bed that were stained -the realty staff sent new sheets but refused to put them on the bed.
The floors seemed dirty and the bathrooms were barely acceptable. We had trouble with the A/C, but a maintenance man came and repaired it.

We use a third-party vendor to supply our sheets and towels, but we were happy to bring you some from our office stock. Unfortunately, you are correct; the reservationist who delivered the sheets to you does not make beds. You can imagine we need all the reservationists we can get to help answer the phones! I am sorry that the cleaning was not to your standards, but glad to hear that we were able to get the AC fixed in a timely manner. Thanks again- enjoy the rest of your summer!

Fantastic location. Right on the beach. Beautiful views and excellent features within the unit. Plenty of room inside and a well supplied kitchen. Both balconies, one off the master bedroom and the other off the living room we're constantly occupied by us. Would definitely return!

This rental is beautiful. It is truly beachfront, just steps from the sand. You are also close to the fishing pier and a few restaurants are in walking distance. There is also a little playground nearby. The aquarium is just a short drive. The house is nearly new and in great condition. We really enjoyed sitting on the deck off of the master enjoying the ocean breeze. When you stay here, be sure to bring all aper goods like toilet paper, paper towels, etc. also bring dish soap, dishwasher soap, hand towels and garbage bags. Rather than spend the extra money, we brought our own linen. Over all it was a great place to stay.

The Burpeau residence was an excellent choice for our stay at Kure Beach. It was very clean except for one small detail (tile floors could have been cleaner - could not walk around with bare feet). That was the only nitch in our stay. Kitchen very well stocked with dishes, pots/pans, silverware, and cooking utensils. Plenty of cabinet space. Refrigerator was large size and worked very good. The house is very spaceous - plenty of room for our 3 separate familes, everyone had their own space. I could have spent the majority of my time on either porch rocker - great view/great location - I chose the perfect place for our summer vacation. Would come again for sure! Very close to Aquarium which we visited and Fort Fisher. Rode the ferry over to Southport and enjoyed that very much. We ate at Big Daddy's and Bowmans. Tried to get into Freddys but didn't realize was only reservations only - so they had no room. Walked to the pier - very close. This place is very close to everything you would want to see. Great choice.

We had a great time in Kure Beach. The house is beautiful and very comfortable. New couches and plenty of dishes and glassware. Toys left behind by previous guests were a welcome surprise for the kids to use at the beach. We rented both sides as we had many family members with us. We had plenty of room to gather together or have quiet spaces. Washer and dryer came in handy too. An excellent vacation home.

We stayed in Burpeau Unit B over NYE weekend and had a blast! We had plenty of room for 6 adults, a baby, and a pup! The house is beautiful and spacious, with a GORGEOUS view of the ocean right off the two balconies. Plus everyone has their own bathroom, which is awesome. I will say that there are very few amenities included, like toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, linens, etc. However, I saw that they were implementing new amenities after Feb 1st, so that may not be an issue anymore. Although we were freezing, we enjoyed the beach and walked down to the restaurants on Kure Beach. I must also mention that everyone we met was SO nice, and I come from an extremely hospitable place. The food at Jack Mackerals was delicious and service was superb. We enjoyed the dog park at Joe Eakes Park.

We really enjoyed this home. It's in a perfect location right on the beach and you can't beat how convenient it is to restaurants and the pier in Kure. Overall the house was awesome. The only thing it lacked was a few things in the kitchen that we needed here and there but for the most part we got by with what was there. Some trash bags and paper towels would be a nice to have for future guests but a quick trip to Teeter solved that. Altogether the time was amazing. I just wish we had more than 4 days there, but LDW was a quick trip. Thank you again for having us!

The house was very nice. This was our first time renting in Kure and as regular high end beach renters we were very surprised by the linen charges plus a charge to make each bed. It was in the contract but somewhat confusing. We thought that the charge, also unusual for us, was for make the beds. Also, we are not used to coming into a house without the typical welcome package of a few DW tablets, paper towels, etc. We normally rent in Wild Dunes, SC.

Can't wait until next summer!!

The location was perfect.
The only concern was when the property mgr called to tell us that we had to be at the house, on our last day of vacation, to wait for the AC company to do a maintenance check, from 1:00pm - 3:00pm. Why couldn't they schedule it for the following day when we were leaving????? To spend thousands of dollars for a week and have to sit around and wait....doesn't make any sense, Very poor planning.

The house is in a great location but we found it dirty when we arrived. Sand, dust and trash under the beds, etc. Also, all the mattresses were in poor condition and need to be replaced. Before I would recommend this property to a friend the mattresses would all need to be replaced. It's not a fun vacation if you can't sleep.

The location was great - beautiful views, great location and plenty of space for our group. Things the owner could do to make things a bit better would be investing in more comfortable beds, having a larger table to accommodate everyone and fixing the broken towel racks and kitchen chair. But the location made up for those items.

Overall Visit was OK as we had originally planned on vacationing in Carolina Beach, Was Disappointed that Kure Beach did not allow dogs on the beach AT ALL from July - Sept. Beds were uncomfortable and squeaky but kitchen was well equipped minus a can opener. Landscape needed some attention, very weedy and terrible choice of plants (Agave) along driveway and side of house. This made for a non-pet friendly landscape when trying to take your pet out as well as trying to get into your vehicle if parked along the one side. Besides all the above the view and location was Great!!!

Overall no complaints what so ever. Super fun home, plenty of room and clean. Two suggestions, cork screw for wine and a new mattress on the upstairs queen bed in the back, it's very concaved!
We were a group of 3 families and there was more than enough room. We so enjoyed the porch in the evenings and the early mornings and the location is awesome! We hope to visit again!!

We loved this duplex that was 2 blocks from Kure Pier. We love the time that we spend on Kure Beach every summer and being within walking distance of the pier was an added bonus. Our condo was spacious, clean, comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped. It was nice to have two sofas in the living room too. Being pet friendly was a plus too. And the two mile walk down to Fort Fisher was manageable. Of course, you can always go by car. It's my favorite place when I am not at the beach. Don't forget a visit to the aquarium. It is reasonably priced. My family asked if they could stay at the same place next year.

Enjoy the luxury of this oceanfront duplex in Kure Beach. Each side has four bedrooms, three full baths and one half baths. With approximately 2100 square feet of space, your family will have plenty of room to stretch out and relax at "Burpeau Unit B". If this side is unavailable, the other side is almost identical. Need more space? Rent the adjoining "Burpeau Unit A", unit K023, for larger groups!

On the ground floor you will find two bedrooms, one full bathroom and the laundry area. One of the ground floor bedroom boasts three Twin beds, and the other bedroom is complete with a Queen bed. The first floor is home to the living room, beautiful kitchen equipped with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, and one half bathroom.
