The service provided by Bryant Realty was, for the most part, punctual, professional, and friendly. However, there was one instance that was not acceptable having to do with a scheduled visit from a pest control company. We were not asked if this was agreeable or convenient but instead received a "courtesy call" telling us this would be occurring at some point during the day. For a family on vacation with several small children (with nap times) this felt invasive. Having grown up at Wrightsville I do fully understand the need for pest control but this should be scheduled when the unit is not in use. The house on Sunset Ave. looks and feels like the older beach houses that I grew up with. The location is great and I would consider renting again solely because of the location. The owner of the house does need to step up and replace furniture that is damaged, blinds that are damaged and the hole in the wall in one bedroom should be repaired (also, the floors need a very thorough, deep cleaning). The kitchen equipment is adequate but piecemeal. The house rents for less than some of your other properties and amenities commensurate with the rental price point would be expected. Although this house may be considered a lower level rental, basic upkeep is not what it should be. So, I have given you a rundown of what I see as the shortcomings of the property but I will close by saying that our visit was pleasant overall. I hope you will excuse the delayed response, but we have been quite busy since returning home. If you have any questions please contact me.

Craft upper was a great place to stay. Very convenient location and comfortable accommodations. House was clean. Only problem was with the tvs.We could not get one tv to work and without a paying service very limited channels.

The location is close to the beach and Sunday’s Café and Oceanic restaurant. There are beautiful beaches here and nice places to walk. Traffic can be a bit loud but that’s to be expected based on its location. The house itself is older and in need of cosmetic repairs as well as more comfortable furnishings. . We enjoy coming here but hope that there will be some updates for comfort and cleanliness in order to return.

I stayed here with a group of girl friends for a low key COVID era bachelorette party. It slept the six of us very comfortably with two double beds, two single beds, and two large bathrooms with roomy showers. Having access to a washer and dryer was SOO nice - just make sure you buy/bring some detergent, because all that is available at the house is fabric softener. The décor is very beachy, sort of what you'd expect in a rental. The front porch was amazing. The couches could use some new cushions/updating, but if you are only sitting on them and don't plan to have someone sleep there, it was fine. I would recommend bringing extra paper towels and prepare to do a bit of dishwashing by hand if you cook in the home, as there is no dishwasher. The oven and microwave worked perfectly, and the fridge was clean. Overall I would say the best perk of this house is the location, as you are just a few feet from the public access at the Oceanic, which is a lovely, family friendly beach access.

The was tidy but not clean. You can tell the cleaners don’t spend much time cleaning. The carpets were not vacuum from the previous tenant. The furniture is old and way past time to replace. I am ok with old but not dirty. My wife and I spent 2 hours cleaning when we got there.

Please know that is not the standard for a Bryant rental property. We hold our housekeepers and inspectors to very high standards and expect nothing less. We were not made aware of any cleaning issues when you arrived - but would have loved the opportunity, had you made us aware, to send a housekeeper to your unit right away to reclean. I will make note about the furniture and pass along to the property manager to relay to the owner. The carpeting and upholstery are regularly carpet cleaned so while there may be some permanent staining (pet friendly home), we do keep it very sanitized. The lower unit is very similar to this one, but just underwent some renovations including new dining room furniture and a spring clean if that would better interest you next time! We would love to make it up to you and invite you to visit us again to see the true Bryant standard. Take care!

Nice location, older house, needs some TLC

Great location. The house is older and had a few roaches. The carpets were light colored scrap pieces that were heavily stained with animal urine. Furniture has not been updated in years and is very uncomfortable and the homemade cushions are stained.The floors were extremely dirty, when wiping up water spots, the paper towel turned black. Most dishes were sticky or dirty and the 2 provided frying pans were small and the nonstick surface was too scratched to use. There was no dust pan to clean throughout the week, we had to buy one. The refrigerator had rust spots and parts of the shelves were taped together. The property has a queen bed, 2 twin size beds, and a full size, so it can only comfortably accommodate 5 people-not 6 as advertised. The blinds in every room were broken and mismatched. The front door knob needed replaced from wear and was difficult to unlock and rusted. The master bedroom door knob was broken and just spun around instead of turning properly to open. This has the potential to be a great property, just needs to be properly cleaned, maintained, and a few updates. The lady in the downstairs unit was very friendly, but her dog was unleashed and jumped the low retaining wall and viciously attacked a neighbors dog that was being walked on a leash. It bit the dog multiple times, so be VERY careful if you bring your pet!

The Craft unit is a wonderful property a lot back from the ocean that allows guests to enjoy the proximity to the beach and south end shops without the price tag. There are certain expectations associated with properties in this price range. It's a very cozy cottage but is older as you mentioned, yet still maintained. The owner just repainted the exterior and deck before the season this year, as well as having a full spring clean and carpet cleaning inside. While some stains are still apparent, the carpets and upholstery are sanitized regularly especially being a pet friendly home. We are very honest in our advertising and find the comfortable essence of Craft is demonstrated accurately. Our housekeeping and maintenance staff are available if there is ever a need during your stay and I wish we would have had the opportunity to correct some of your qualms with the property while you were here. We also have a fully stocked closet at the beach office for supplies such as dust pans and cookware had you let us know. I will drop off new pots and pans this weekend and have maintenance look into the door knobs. This is a popular home where the same renters return year after year. It sounds like maybe you are in need of a more updated property which we have plenty of - give us a ring next time you are planning a trip to the area and we can work together to find you the perfect beach rental for your family. Craft upper unit is spacious and comfortable. A short walk across the street to the beach or harbor in either direction. Pizza delivery in a matter of minutes. The only complaint was some noisy neighbors one night kept us up 2-3am partying next door.

Great location- poor weather unfortunately overall for Jan Feb and early March - windy colder and more raisin than expected. Rental was very good save for rugs which were heavily stained that I promptly roiled up and stored til the end.Downstairs neighbors and Mr Craft were very nice. If I were to rent again it would be March 15 - April 15. I need Warner and pkan to go to FL for Jan and Feb next year...

Driveway for 2 cars.
Only 1 flight of stairs.
The porch.
Lots of trash cans, all with trash bags despite their threats about bringing my own trash bags.
Lots of hangers in the closets despite their repeated threats that I must bring my own hangers!
There was dish detergent. Big kitchen sink w/ocean view!

But:
Wavy front porch is a safety issue.
Outside of house needs to be painted.
House has a strong moldy smell.
Kitchen door is stuck. Screen door falling off.
Towel bar on the back of the 2nd bathroom doesn’t hold weight.
Air vents need to be dusted.
Windows painted shut.
Blinds don’t all work. Security lights from neighboring houses blinding at night.
Shower heads need to be replaced! They are disgusting! The master bathroom shower faucet is broken so that it just spins. The bath tub doesn’t drain fast enough the water in the tub with that nasty mat is up to your ankles. The bath mat! YUCK! I hated putting my feet on it.

Also, I’d like to warn other VRBO users that as soon as you reserve this house through VRBO & click confirmed/pay, you are immediately transferred to Bryant Real Estate & forced to sign a 16 page contract.

Suddenly things that were always considered standard to me at other VRBO properties were not so standard. Sheets! Would I like to pay extra to have sheets & even more if I wanted the bed made? I was warned several times that I would not have any trash bags, paper towels & would have 1 roll of the cheapest toilet paper they could find. If I wanted Kleenex, paper towels, more toilet paper, hangers, towels or a blanket, bring it with me.

No lock box or code on the unit! Had to pick up the key from the other end of the island. I did get linens that were like from a prison but they were not put on the beds. Then on the way to my early flight, I had to take drive down to

Simple beach house with great location. Easy access to the beach - cross Lumina Ave and enter next to the Crystal Pier or the south side of The Surf Suites. The house was clean and appointed with most everything you’ll need to cook and relax at the beach. Bryant responded quickly to a maintenance request and had someone out that day. Good pet friendly option!

On the positive: the management contact with custom phone app, emails, and response was quite good. Though they need to address property condition better. I accept that the propety was an older beach house, but:
1) the blinds s/b able to be closed to keep out neighboring lights at night
2) the air filter hadn't been changed for a very longtime, and may have resulted in why the furnace cut off Friday night with inside temp dropping below 60*

Orherwise the 3 BDR unit was fine and close to expected, tho other units in the area looked in better condition.

According to the report from our 3rd party heat vendor (who was dispatched as soon as you informed us that the heat was not working properly), the heat went out because of an issue with the LP gas valve on the exterior of the house, which was repaired the same day. This was our 4th summer staying in this particular rental unit (our 27th summer coming to WB overall). The location is great (close to Oceanic and beach access) and to our family - close to the other rental units our family is in. It has the “beach cottage vibe” but really could use some basic routine maintenance and CLEANING! We will NOT be renting this unit again. The floors need a thorough cleaning and for $20 the DIRTY carpet remnants could be replaced in the living room and bedrooms (or just throw out) We tried to provide constructive feedback but all we got was “most people like the beach cottage vibe” We tried to explain that there is a difference between beach cottage vibe and beach cottage dirt and grime. Bottom line; the location is great; feel like for the price we should be able to expect a little more cleanliness. We did come back several years but each year there were not any improvements and it only seems to be declining.

We LOVE the location of the house. It is ideal. I wish the inside was a little more updated and clutter free in rooms. House keeping could be better the house was full of dog hair~ clumps of it.

The rental unit was used by Son, Daughter-in-law and three grandsons for family beach week over July 4. Unit is close to private beach club with boat dock that was used during the week and walking distance from the unit. In general we were satisfied with a few exceptions. The mattress was not comfortable, didn’t offer good support. The blinds did not do a good job of shutting out light. Lack of a dishwasher was a minor inconvenience.

We really loved our home. There's 2 beach access spots right by the house oceanic, a coffee and breakfast spot, and a surf shop. Great location! The house was very comfortable w. 3 spacious bedrooms and 2 full baths. Kitchen has everything including a coffee pot and blender. There are neighbors below, but they're very quiet so it was fine.

We enjoyed our time in Wrightsville Beach. We had only a very short walk to the beach and the coffee shop around the corner was a bonus! This unit was freshly painted and very clean. The bathroom fixtures desperately need updating for functionality purposes and living room furniture not the most comfortable but otherwise we were pleased with the unit.

We spent a whole week in the upper unit of this house and we really enjoyed it. It a nice beach cottage, nothing fancy but spacious and full of light. The location was great! The house is a wonderful size. We loved the big Kitchen. The bed mattress need to be replaced and the twin beds fixed. One bed fell to the floor. For the price that should not be the case. They do not need to go up on price unless some work is done.

This property is in a super location. However, it was in great need of repair to all ceilings and air condition they were hanging from the ceiling. It was relatively clean and all appliances worked well. The front porch was our favorite place to sit and rock. Usually a breeze. I would recommend it to a friend if it were repaired.

I rented the beach house for the winter months and absolutely loved it. The location was amazing. You are right beside a coffee shop open year round and then you walk across the road to the prettiest beaches in NC. Staying at the south end you have the best of both worlds incredible sunrises which you can see out the kitchen window and sunsets on the sound side.The house is large and can accommodate all family and friends comfortably. The porch is my favorite for morning coffee and cider in the evening. I gave the property's condition a 3 out of 5 because the furniture in the living room and kitchen could use updating.

This is a very nice little rental. It is, however, not soundproof! This is a cute place, has everything I needed, more than I expected-- coffee maker, toaster, microwave -- and very convenient walk to the beach, short drive to the little village shops or into Wilmington. And the Bryant company is efficient and pleasant to do business with. Will recommend!

I could not pick a better location in Wrightsville Beach. This property is located just a block off the beach with easy access to the public walkway and fantastic coffee shop around the corner. The walk to shops/restaurants is about a mile but you can do the walk on the beach so it's very pleasant. The property itself is very spacious - good sized bedrooms and a big kitchen with lots of storage and a great dining table to seat a large family. It also has a big deck for outdoor eating. Highly recommended!

“Craft Upper” is a classic Wrightsville Beach 1940’s style top floor unit within a duplex. In a great location, positioned just across the street from the Oceanic Restaurant, Crystal Pier, and is only steps to the nearby public beach and sound accesses. The covered front porch is perfect for people watching, outdoor dining, or relaxing while taking in the salt air.

This 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom unit is all about spending quality time with family at the beach. Despite the traditional configuration of the home, the living room, dining area, and kitchen offer plenty of space for families to spread out while keeping everyone together with a somewhat open concept. This home has everything you need for a beach getaway without all the frills and unnecessary clutter.

The kitchen is functional and well equipped for preparing meals but there is not a dishwasher included among the appliances provided. A side door off the kitchen gives easy access to the outdoor deck and living space. The kitchen and dining area are combined, making for a wonderful gathering space to share home cooked meals that has helped families reconnect and make memories for generations.

The primary bedroom is outfitted with a queen bed, large closet, and private bathroom. There is another guest room with a full bed that shares the hall bathroom with the twin bedroom. The hall bathroom has a stackable washer and dryer for added convenience.

Pet Policy: Dogs welcome with a nonrefundable fee that is charged per pet. Maximum of 2 dogs per reservation.
Prohibited: Smoking, Use of Fireplace, RV’s, Boats, Boat Trailers, Charging Golf Carts, Mail and Packages are not able to be sent to the rental.
