Rental process was easy! ! Views were excellent! Even though we saw the pool cleaning service a few times, the pool was cloudy and dirty, every day. The condo was clean, it would have been nice to have instructions for the washing machine.

This rental is in a great location with beautiful views. It was very clean and had all basic starter items needed to get our stay started. You cannot go wrong with staying on this end of the island, no crowd and just enough beach to relax and enjoy the sun and waves.

condo was clean and well kept, the BIG downfall was the bed, couch and bunk beds were all so hard it was impossible to sleep on. (definitely didn't help my wife is pregnant and couldn't rest at all) This actually led us to leave a day early because we could not sleep. Everything else was great! Could stand to be updated some but was decent. I would not stay again due to the bed situation.

It is tough to advise our owners about beds. Much like Goldilocks, it seems as if you just can't please everyone or satisfy their need for softer or firmer mattresses. The property was not cleaned or well maintained. We had to clean in order to place our baggage down. There were stains on furniture, floors and counter tops were sticky, broken backs off of the chairs and it smelled really bad.

The condo definitely photographs better than it looks in person. There were outlets not secured in the walls and the light switches were confusing as to which switch operated which light or outlet. Other than that we were pleased with our stay. The rental company was easy to work with. One disappointment was the pool was closed for repairs, but that's no one's fault. We loved staying at the end of the beach where it was quiet and not crowded. We will definitely be interested in staying at the Righings again, but probably on the ground floor.

It is a great place to stay. Very close to the water & the view is awesome! The screen on the patio door needs repair. Could not leave the door opened because of these little biting gnats getting in,but overall the place was great. Will try staying in Del Rosa next (my 1st choice) but had to move because of floor repairs being done.

The location is great. However, you may not have access to the beachfront during high tide, which is very strong here. Check out this article for more. /

The main part of Kure beach is just steps away. Overall, the location is still great, with Kure on one side and Fort Fisher, the aquarium, battlefield/museum on the other side. The ferry to Southport is also close.

Although this condo was acceptably clean, it could use a deep cleaning. Furniture (beds and sofa) had stains on them and there was a good amount of dust on the entertainment stand. Mattress was also dirty underneath and very hard. It was advertised as queen size but was only full. Furniture had also seen its share of use. It really is at the point where it needs to be replaced. This particular condo also does not have wi-fi. Note that Bryant Real Estate manages only four condos in this complex and the rest are managed by other companies or private owners.

Good but not as nice as pictures showed. There was no beach as showed in pictures. Unit could use some updating. We got there at 1:30 in the morning and realtor had not given us the complete access code. We accidentally figured it out or else we would have had to spend the night in the car.

Hi Sarah- thank you for your feedback. It's true that the beach on that end of the island does get narrow at high tide, but there is plenty of beach at low and mid tide. The full access code with directions for the keyless lock are in the same email; your code is listed, then the directions are spelled out directly underneath. This email was sent about three days prior to your arrival. Of course if there had been a true issue, we have maintenance on-call 24/7. The on-call technician would have been more than happy to help you get into the unit. Thanks again!

This was my 60th Birthday celebration with my sisters. Everything was great. We had an incident with the ladder to the bunk. The maintenance department came immediately and took the ladder to add a hook to the top so it would attach to the top bunk. A couple of maintenance issues are the peeling of the ceiling in the living room and a very immediate need would be to replace electrical reciprocals. All but one is very loose and our plugs to charge our phones, hook up the coffee pot, hair dryer would not stay together. Very clean condo. I would give it a 9 out of 10.

We love staying in this condo community because it's qQuiet and peaceful, clean, family friendly. It's become our "happy place." This unit had, what appeared to be, new furnishings, but it seemed like nobody had checked the lights of the unit in awhile because several didn't work. Ice maker didn't work all week and parts of the living room ceiling need repair. It didn't ruin our stay, but it would have made the unit perfect to have ice and a well lit kitchen and bathroom, and no blotches of ceiling coming off in the living room.

The actual location I liked being quiet at the end of Kure Beach and the pool was nice. I do worry about ocean being too close to the properties, it felt a little scary. The way to the beach was longer than advertised, and there was a weird call from the property manager about a parking pass after we already were inside (and it was a long drive back to get it with no indication in the app that we needed a pass). I had no idea there wasn't WiFi - that was terrible with a 3 year old. If I had known I'd have brought DVDs or something but kid wasn't happy - and TV didn't have NetFlix either. Very much cute but stuck in the 90s. Needs more upgrades or you'll have more unhappy customers. Space itself was okay.

The location is great; however, the place needs lots of work. Popcorn ceiling falling in several places, stained furniture, mattresses are terrible, toaster button is broken, microwave needs work (can't see the timer), coffee pot took forever to brew and coffee was not hot. Rocking chairs were very rickety. The whole place was very dated. I received an email about trash day and none of the totes were labeled for each unit. I took pictures and am willing to share them.

A wonderful location. Check out sheets/towel policies. We chose to purchase our own after an additional $25 delivery fee was attached in addition to the rental fee.

We had a great time. The beach conditions were a disappointment but it was far to get to a nice part of beach. It was not crowded so that was nice. We had some trouble with the washer door sticking but other than that no problems. The outdoor trash bins were very dirty.

Love the location. I do have an issue with the HOA's new guest parking rule requiring a guest tag in lot across the street. Had two friends in separate vehicles on an afternoon when there was a total of 5 cars in the lot. With only one guest parking pass, the second guest's car was towed which cost me $185.00. Leaves like a very unfriendly feeling. Master bedroom needs new mattress. Unit was clean and otherwise satisfactory.

After a 10 hour drive from New Jersey, my husband and I could not wait to check into our oceanfront condo; Getting the keys and information from Bryant Real Estate was a breeze; the person I dealt with was friendly, quick and to the point knowing we couldn't wait to start our vacation. When we arrived at the condo and unlocked the door we were very pleased at the cleanliness of the condo (that's the most important thing to me); the location, view of the ocean, oceanfront pool and the ocean itself was perfect!

It was our understanding that the owners had made some upgrades (flooring,new sofa repainted bedroom). These upgrades were very nice and freshened up the unit based on the previous photos. We hope to be able to return to vacation in that same unit.

The condo is clean and comfortable, but needs some updating. Wi-Fi should now be standard, for instance There's no place on Kure Beach that's closer to the ocean, and the end of the beach location means it quiet and relatively free of traffic. One of our primary reasons for choosing the Riggings was the pool, but it was closed because of pump problems for almost three days of our one week rental. Bryant was apologetic, but made no offer of any kind of compensation for the problem.

We had a fantastic vacation. The location is perfect. Just a few steps to the beach, what more could you ask for? Overall everything was absolutely perfect. The unit itself was a bit outdated. The fridge was dirty and the shelves were broken. The stove was very old, and it was a bit difficult to use. Some of the burners did not seem to want to work. These were just small issues though and did not affect the quality of our vacation. We will definitely stay there again, although we might look for a more updated condo.

Overall it was great but T-Mobile customers be aware that you won't have any reception... NONE! That was okay for me but we'd been in trouble in an emergency since there isn't a land line. If they had Wi-Fi we could have used the Wi-Fi calling feature on our cell phones.

The management company was very responsive to 1 issue we had and was fixed shortly after we notified them. They are extremely helpful and nice.

The location couldn't have been better. We liked being at the end of the island. It was nice and quiet. The Kure and Carolina Beach Boardwalk's are just a 5 min drive when you want to go.

The pool was a lifesaver. We have 2 small children, 2 and 1, and the water at the end of the island is a lot rougher than if you were in a little closer towards the board walk. Plus the beach in front of the condos has a major erosion issue. There were a lot of sand bags that showed through at low tide. At high tide there isn't a lot of room and you'll need to walk down the beach if you want to set up a tent. At high tide you may have 10-20 feet of beach front.

The only thing that was missing and was a major inconvenience was the lack of internet. There isn't any Wi-Fi. We brought our tablet for the kids to watch Netflix so if we wanted to watch a movie or anything on TV we could. Like I said previously we also needed it for our cell phones since we didn't have reception.

The Riggings is the last complex on the south end of Ft. Fisher just before the Ft. Fisher State Historic Site. While this can mean a narrowing of the beach during high tides, it is hard to find a unit that sits any closer to the ocean. You will enjoy the soothing sounds of the gently crashing waves as you overlook the community pool, perfect for parents wanting to keep an eye on the young ones without being in the middle of the action.

This is cozy 1 bedroom, 1 bath top floor condo called "Rudicile" features an oceanfront living room with a sofa bed, dining area and kitchen with stainless appliances. There is an alcove in the hall that has Twin bunk beds and the primary bedroom with Queen bed is street side. The large oceanfront deck has amazing views of the Atlantic and plenty of room for outdoor dining. Make sure you get up early for a breathtaking sunrise.

At the Riggings Condos in Kure Beach, NC, enjoy a quiet escape in a one-bedroom condo with direct beach access. Located on the far south end of Pleasure Island in Kure Beach, this complex is near Fort Fisher aquarium and historic Civil War battlegrounds, and offers a private pool.

There is a newly redone oceanfront swimming pool on site and you are just a very short distance from the NC Aquarium and Fort Fisher Civil War Museum. Assigned parking for one car at the complex and additional parking for one car across the street. No boat trailers are allowed. Recent beach re-nourishment prohibits anyone walking on the sand bags that protect the beach.

*Please keep in mind that if you are renting a property with a pool during the off-season, it may not be open or available. Pools are usually open from mid- May to September, but dates can vary based on weather, permits, HOA guidelines, inspections, improvements, and unforeseen events. For more detailed information on specific pools, please feel free to contact our office.
