We enjoyed our stay at the Sand Crab cottage very much. Although it is a little cluttered for our taste, it also had everything you would ever need on your vacation. We enjoyed the bikes and sand toys everyday. The interior is spotless and the kitchen had every utensil and met our every need. We loved our location close to the ocean and sat on the comfortable porch for hours each day watching the world go by.

This cottage is one of the best we have ever rented. The owner provides anything you could possibly need to have a great time at Wrightsville Beach. The property was spotless, the furnishings were so comfortable, especially the beds. The front porch with rocking chairs and a "garden" swing was a great place to relax. This is the second time staying here. The couch and beds are SO comfortable you don’t want to leave them! My dog loved everything too! The location is great. The front porch is great to hang out on. Bikes chairs and towels are there for use. Our family will be going back!

This is a fantastic place to stay. In all my many years of vacation rentals (I am 85) I have never seen such a well stocked and thoughtfully prepared rental. Everything from total beach supplies, a ton of beach towels, a well stocked kitchen with coffee creamers coffee sweeteners and a Margarita machine, bath room deodorizers, TVs and fans in each bedroom, great beds and air conditioning, a fantastic front porch looking out on the world of Wrightsville Beach, and so much more. Can't recommend this place highly enough. We had a great vacation here.

This house was packed with something for everyone! It has lots of beach gear (towels, chairs), a grill, a closed porch that our dog enjoyed, mixed drink recipes, movies, and easy walking distance to the beach (1 block) and restaurants and ice cream within a few blocks! The house has tons of beach character, and very comfortable sheets and beds! We had a wonderful week with the family, and look forward to returning here!

We loved this cottage!! Hope to do it again next year, we're already making plans. The cottage has everything you could want. Bring nothing but your food and clothes. It's so close to the beach and a short walk to restaurants. Bikes and beach wagon at the ready. We spent a lot of time on the porch just watching the world go by. We are a family of 4 plus our Labrador Retriever, Ryder. We don’t always plan our vacations with Ryder, but sometimes I find a great place where he can come along. Sand Crab Cottage was perfect for all of us. Everything you need is in this adorable perfectly decorated cottage. The porch and fenced-in yard are definitely a plus. The house is very quiet inside. You barely notice you are on the busy Loop. Beds are made and ready upon arrival. Thick white towels and washcloths in abundance. There is a basket full of blankets to use for your dog if they like to be on the furniture (we don’t allow that in our house and did not allow it here) as well as a bunch of cute dog toys. Dogs are not allowed upstairs. It was as if Ryder could read and never bothered to go up there. Beach towels and beach chairs all ready as well. There were a few extra pantry items and some staples in the refrigerator when we arrived. There was dish detergent and hand soaps. Lots of spices and cookbooks. There is a decent coffee maker as well as a French press coffee maker and a huge crab pot in the pantry. Tons of movies, books and games. It was really hot the week we stayed in July, so we kept all the shades closed to help the home stay cool. The AC works well even under the stress of the heat. Bryant Real Estate utilizes an app called Hospitality that was a breeze to use for looking up rental information and sending quick questions, which were answered promptly. We walked to many of the local restaurants. Be sure to flip through the book to see the before pictures of the cottage as well as some of the history. We have stayed at Sand Crab Cottage twice and look forward to future stays.

Our family used the Sand Crab Cottage as a "home between homes" as we moved from our large family home to a smaller home, now that our children are growing up and moving away from home. Sand Crab Cottage was a lovely place for us to spend some time as a family at the beach, everything we needed was provided and we really appreciated the dog friendly aspect of the home. Our experience there made the process of being out of a home for 6 days much easier - some sunshine in the moving process!

We liked our stay there - the kids room was awesome and there were lots of toys, plus the fenced in yard was the biggest help with our puppy. The big downside for us and what will make us hesitate to rent this space again is that there was NO space to put anything. Most every drawer, shelf, cabinet, basket, and table top was full. It made a longer stay a little tough because we felt so claustrophobic. Finally cleared a few things off so we could have enough counter space to cook. With little kids and a dog it just got overcrowded quickly. It would be awesome if some closets could be cleaned out, bathroom spaces, etc. But loved the location and willingness of owners to clearly go out of their way to make their renters feel at home!

This property has a large following of repeat guests due to the love and attention to detail that the owner continuously pours into every inch of the home. As you mentioned, the kids’ room provides comforts, toys and amenities that are unmatched by any other rental and is thoughtfully furnished to ensure a lasting impression is made on every child! You are correct, the entire home is carefully stocked and furnished to give a very homey feeling; welcoming everyone who enters. We cannot dispute that Sand Crab Cottage provides almost every item imaginable- dog bowls, beach towels, laundry detergent, paper products, outdoor toys, and so on. We apologize if this was perceived as clutter; however, the home is intentionally stocked this way to allow renters the convenience of not having to over pack for a vacation- allowing guests to simply show up and relax! Although, we appreciate every family has different criteria and expectations from a rental home and acknowledge that Sand Crab Cottage may not suit every renter of family. Having said that, we feel that the property description and photos paint a very accurate and true depiction of what the home provides and sincerely hope you found most items to be a comfort rather than a bother. We rented this hours for the Wrightsville Beach marathon. The pics online were so cute and the house didn't disappoint. I must say this is the most well appointed house I've ever stayed in and I've stayed in a bunch. This house truly had everything from beach toys to games to books to CD's, towels and beach towels and toiletries. It's right on the route for the marathon so my family got to sit on the porch and wait for us to run by and get great pics. The dogs truly enjoyed the fenced in yard and there was a huge basket of dog toys and dog treats. The owners even left us a welcome basket with pancake and muffin mix, coffee, candy, popcorn, pen and paper, etc. Such a personal touch. There were so many cute things to look at I'm sure I missed a few. Good sleeping for 6 and parking for 4 cars even though we only had 3. The massive couch was awesome and just what I needed after the run. The house is just a minute or 2 walk to the beach and pier. The porch was awesome and huge. My only negative were all the throw rugs which i kept stumbling over but I'm a klutz.....I'd love to stay in the this house again and for a longer time period.

Perfect getaway for a few days. Lovely house, fabulous location. Everything was spotless and house well stocked! Bed linens and mattresses were very luxurious as were the towels. Would definitely recommend this house to friends and family!

We have rented this house for a couple of years. It is just my daughter, her golden doodle and myself. Easy walk to restaurants and only 1 block off the beach. The front porch and side yard are both gated so the dog can be outside. Inside there is everything we need for a great stay! Perfect rental for our needs.

This our third year at the Sand Crab Cottage and it gets better every year. The accommodations are first class and the owners attention to detail make the stay a fabulous experience. Everything you could think of for a great beach experience is already here.......just bring clothes and food and you're set. The fenced side yard is great with small children and the garage has every beach amenity imaginable. You'll fall in love with this house.

Sweet, well appointed house in great location! Very pet friendly down to toys and dog beds! Nice linens and towels, comfortable beds. Well stocked kitchen including spices. Our dog loved the fenced in yard and porch. We will definitely stay again!

I spent Christmas with my daughter at the Sand Crab Cottage. This cottage is awesome. It's magazine beautiful but so cozy and comfortable. It has a great location across the street from the beach and in walkable distance from restaurants. It is stocked with everything you need as far as kitchen supplies, paper products, personal care items, etc. The beds are so comfortable. It's like staying at a 5 star hotel but you have your own house. it is amazingly dog friendly with beds, toys, bowls and a fenced in yard and gated front porch. The rental experience was flawless from the beginning to end. I could not have been more pleased with my stay at the Sand Crab Cottage!

As in past visits to the Sand Crab Cottage, the house and amenities are exceptional. Everything you need is there and the house has a warmth that makes you feel at home. This is a great house in a great location. It is a very short walk to the beach and the house has everything possible you could wish to find in a vacation rental. The owners have taken great length to think of ANYTHING you could need. The outbuilding has supplies for the beach and the house is incredibly well appointed from the kitchen to the bathroom and everything in between. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great getaway.

This iconic cottage is perfectly positioned on the corner of The Loop in the center of Wrightsville Beach and features a Little Free Library on the corner for the community and cottage guests to enjoy. The spacious front porch provides ample seating and is the best place to kick back and unwind in the subtle sea breeze. The great room of this immaculate cottage is accented by the vaulted ceiling with exposed beams, cozy seating options, a large family style dining table, and cheery pops of color. You will instantly feel at home! Snuggle up on the couch with a plush throw blanket and your favorite book after the sun goes down or catch up on your favorite shows.

Upstairs is a darling guest room that is perfect for kids. Furnished with two queen beds, this nautical room is sure to inspire a feeling of wonder and magic. An oversized chair makes a perfect space to read nighttime stories to youngsters or to escape for a little rest and relaxation. There is also a full bathroom with walk in shower for added convenience.

Downstairs you will find two bedrooms, both furnished with lush king-sized feather beds that pull you in and let your cares float away. There is a full bathroom with walk in shower and dual sinks that are shared by these rooms. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need to make a family meal – it even includes a Margaritaville margarita machine because it is always 5 o’clock at the “Sand Crab Cottage”! Enjoy cooking on the gas range or grilling out and eating at the shaded picnic table.

Don’t forget to take advantage of the toy shed. Whether you want to boogie board in the surf, pack a beach cooler with ice and cold drinks, play a game of cornhole, or go for a bike ride around the island you are sure to find fun here. There is also an enclosed outdoor shower so that you can rinse off after a long day in the sun and sand.

Guests of the cottage will enjoy the vantage point and people watching from the cozy front porch. To the left of the cottage, it's a short stroll to the beach. To the right of the cottage, a short stroll to Banks Channel where you can access the intracoastal waterway. Johnny Mercer Pier is also close by for fun, fishing, and meeting up with friends. Walk to great restaurants and shops. Or just relax on the front porch and watch the world go by. **All vacation rentals for this home include high quality luxury linens and beach towels. Additional services and packages can be added to your reservation at cost per the rental contract. Occupancy: Strict limit of 6 people per reservation. All occupants must be disclosed as household amenities and linens are stocked per person.
Stay Requirements: Saturday to Saturday rental in summer. Minimum of 3-night stay in other seasons.
Bedding Configuration: 2 King, 2 Queen.
Parking: Driveway can accommodate 3 vehicles.
Pet Policy: Dogs welcome with a nonrefundable fee. Maximum of 2 dogs per reservation.
Prohibited: Boat Trailers, Boats, Trailers, RV’s, SMOKING anywhere on premises, Mail and Packages are not able to be sent to the rental.

Property Security: For the security of our guests and the safety of our home, we have exterior security cameras located on the font of the cottage to view the front porch, parking pad and rear exterior camera to view rear side of cottage.
