She sat on her porch glaring at us barking orders daily (all week!) - "watch your dog", "make sure the ball doesn't come on my property", "there is a noise ordinance", etc. Our dog is 15 and stays attached to me at this point in her life. Our kids are 17, 21 and 25. They threw the football to each other in the street. She was so worried about it! One evening from 6:00 - 8:00 we had some family friends over. We didn't have outdoor music in the front ... just talking friends. The backyard neighbors were very friendly and awesome so we just spent more time back there! :)

I would suggest knowing what your properties have. To not know if we had an iron/ironing board (we did end up getting this clarified), or even hangers in the closet was not very comforting. We were already overloaded with wedding items, so having to consider bringing items that should be, in my opinion, staples, was definitely not ideal. The beds were comfortable, and I actually liked having sheets wrapped (even though I had to make my own bed) It was nice knowing my sheets were clean! The design and decor were spot on. With all the wedding activities, we didn't end up cooking, but it seemed the kitchen had everything anyone would need. The owners did a great job creating a memorable, functional, & comfortable space. My initial experience booking was fine. I reached out on Airbnb and never heard back. I ended up calling directly and was able to book. "In my opinion", charging $200 per pet (NON-REFUNDABLE) is overkill. I get it. Some people don't pick up after their dogs, they shed everywhere, they smell, etc. Every pet owner should not have to pay for those pet owners!! You have an inspector who comes after every visit, so they should report back whether or not the guests should get their pet deposit back. We pick up everything, and our pets are well behaved, and professionally groomed. They are cleaner and better behaved than most humans. I would actually consider NOT booking again because of the astronomical pet fee. Strong cleaner used. The place was very clean, except details such as inside kitchen drawers. Overall, we LOVED this space. GREAT location, COZY!!

The rental is a very short walk to the beach, with no streets to cross. It's also an easy walk to the pier, and shopping and restaurants.
We were fortunate to meet the owners of the property. They couldn't have been nicer, and really cared that we were enjoying their rental! Highly recommend this property, and we will definitely be back!!

With a desirable location that is just a short walk to the beach access at the end of the street, “Stella Mia Upper” is a great choice for your next beach vacation. Enjoy smelling the sweet salt air while lounging on the back deck reading a book or enjoying your favorite cup of coffee.
“Stella Mia Upper” offers a chic design that is very welcoming and makes for a very comfortable vacation. The kitchen is well equipped for preparing daily meals and provides a realistic space to accommodate various living styles. A little breakfast table in the kitchen is great for casual meals or a quick breakfast before hitting the beach. The living and dining areas are combined, making this a perfect space to connect with family and friends. The simplistic and charming décor is minimalistic but makes a large impact! A smart TV can be lowered into a custom cabinet so that the natural light and deck are not blocked when it is not in use.
There is a wonderful deck off the living room that is furnished with a small outdoor dining set and outdoor sofas. String lights create a nice ambiance in the evenings and are sure to entice you outdoors. The first guest bedroom has a plush king-size bed and convenient touches to ensure comfort. The second bedroom is furnished with a queen-sized bed which makes this property perfect for singles, couples, or small families. The third bedroom offers a cozy twin-sized bed.

Stay Requirements: Friday to Friday rental in summer. Minimum of 2-night stay in other seasons.
Bedding Configuration: 1 King, 1 Full, 1 Twin.
Parking: Parking for 2 vehicles. There is one off street parking space in the driveway to the left of the garage. Property comes with one on-street parking pass available for a total of 2 parking spots. On street parking first comes first serve. Garage is not included with rental.
Pet Policy: Pets Considered. Pets are negotiable with non-refundable fee and refundable security deposit. Owner Approval Required.
Prohibited: Boat Trailers, Smoking, RV’s, Boats, Pets, Charging Golf Carts, Mail and Packages are not able to be sent to the rental.

Property Security: For the security of our guests and the safety of our home, we have exterior security cameras located on the garage facing the front gate and one on the roof facing the front stairs for the upper unit.
