The decor in the home is terrific. Not overly “beachy” - a great mix of contemporary and beach. I was really surprised prior renters didn’t mention how well done the interior was done. Underrated but should not be. And…less than 20 steps to have the sand in your toes - magnificent.

Surf Charlotte was the perfect beach cottage/home! Absolutely loved everything about the house. It was perfect for 3 adults, 1 baby and 2 labs! The location is ideal and the house just charming! Thank you for the opportunity to spend a fabulous week there!

This place worked out great for three couples and our pup. It was just steps from the beach path and close to restaurants and shops in Wrightsville. You get a sliver of ocean view from the porch between the two beach front homes in front of you. It was nicely decorated, clean and well stocked. The beds in each of the three bedrooms were very comfortable and the TVs worked well. Neither of the two bathrooms were private, but that was OK with us. My only suggestions is the home needs all new pillows. It would really improve the guest experience. If you are picky about that, bring your own pillows.

Surf Charlotte is in a great location; quiet and close to the beach. It's an older property that has been thoughtfully renovated and decorated. The home is clean and well-maintained, and we had no issues during our stay.

This little home has the perfect amount of space for a family of four. One bedroom is near the living space and the other two are down a hallway with a bathroom at the end of the hall. There are three sitting spaces: two indoor rooms with sofas and televisions and one outside patio space. There's a screen that blocks the porch stairs for the safety of dogs and children. The ramp in the back of the house makes it easy for elderly dogs or children. It's steep but has grips and lights that pop on as you walk up/down in the evening. The garage does not open but there's a driveway. The outdoor shower, beneath the deck was incredible. The water tastes a little funky so bring water if you're sensitive to taste. The house came with everything we needed, except for a lighter. I packed candles and couldn't light them. There are battery operated candles in the fireplace. It was the perfect getaway we needed. So grateful we found this home. You will love it!

Not many rentals accommodate your non-human children. But this rental not only is accommodating, but a beautiful clean home. This is our second time at Surf Charlotte. Lots of space and beautiful decor. We loved our stay.

This house was the perfect escape from the harshest days of winter in NY. Two friends and I (and our dogs) stayed for six weeks. The house has a great layout, is nicely furnished, and the location right of the beach path was fantastic. The staff at Bryant Realty were very helpful and professional. I would definitely stay again.

While not oceanfront, this house is as close as one could hope. It is an older home that has been completely updated. Perfect for our family of 4 plus dog. Love the huge gated porch!

Loved the house and its location. Well furnished and comfortable. Outdoor deck and seating very pleasant. Unfortunately, our stay was marred by an absolutely filthy kitchen on arrival. Dirty dishes, silverware, and cooking utensils in shelves and cupboards. Unusable dishwasher. No dish cloths or oven mitts. Fortunately, Bryant was willing to send a top-notch team to rectify. It took two energetic young people an hour and a half of steady work to get the kitchen in decent shape.

My family of five (including three teenage boys) absolutely loved our recent stay at Surf Charlotte! The home has an excellent location, just steps from the beach. The beds are comfy and the living spaces are nicely appointed. We ate all of our meals outdoors on the large covered porch. The outdoor shower was the perfect place to wash off the sand from the beach. During Covid, we traveled through NC as a family, cooking our meals and keeping distanced. Of all the wonderful places we've stayed over the past 14 months, Surf Charlotte was by far our very favorite. Bryant Real Estate is fantastic, too -- love their app! And they provide useful information (like how garbage day works) just when you need it. Great service and very professional!

This house is pure Old-School beach charm! ADORABLE! So beautifully decorated, from the furniture to the artwork—just GORGEOUS! We loved being able to get up each morning, have coffee on the deck and watch the sun come up over the ocean. The house was super clean and looks like some rooms were freshly painted. We barely cooked—with coffee shops and restaurants a few blocks away—but the kitchen was spotless and well equipped. A GREAT coffee maker, lots of nice pots and pans, lovely plates and glasses—literally everything we could have needed.

As awesome as the house is, the LOCATION is better. Once we arrived, we never got back into the car until we left. You can walk everywhere! I think we counted 8 steps til our toes hit the sand at the beach access, so we left our shoes at the house and didn’t have to lug coolers and beach gear. We just put our chairs on the beach and went back and forth to the house for lunch, drinks, bathroom, etc. And it’s right on The Loop, 2-3 blocks from Robert’s, Tower 7 (THE best Tex-Mex ever), coffee shops, etc. One of the Surf Shops rents boards and bikes and stuff. Comfy furniture on the big, covered deck. There’s a place to rinse sandy feet and a cute outdoor shower with hot water under the house.

There are 2 nice sized bedrooms in the back, but we took the front bedroom. Smaller, but great vibe. Super comfy bed with snuggly duvet. A ceiling fan and lots of blankets in the closet.

I called dibs on the front bathroom. Small but very cool! Has a river rock floor all the way into the shower, which has a small window in it (with a blind) so it feels like you’re showering in the trees! Again, super clean.

There are big smart TVs in every room, so we just logged into our own Netflix and Spectrum accounts so we had our own content. Apparently a filmmaker lives next door and was FILMING A MOVIE on the beach in front of the house! A Suspense fi

Our stay at Surf Charlotte was amazing. My husband and I went for a mini "honeymoon" trip and were definitely not disappointed with this rental! The house is only 1 house removed from being beach front. It was also a convenient location-- close to grocery stores and restaurants (including our favorite, Wrightsville Beach Brewing). Easy parking for us, though we only had 1 car. The house was clean and well equipped with the essentials like towels, pots/ pans, silverware, plates, etc. We did notice some ants in the kitchen, but that's not completely unexpected at a beach house. The house had lovely decorations and we said several times over the weekend, "We HAVE to come back here with our family!". The rental company was quick to respond to any questions that I had prior to our stay. I would definitely recommend this house to friends and family.

“Surf Charlotte” welcomes you with open arms and you will know you made the right choice as soon as you walk through the front door! The open living dining area is cozy and elegant, making a comfortable gathering space after a long day on the beach. The double living room floor plan provides a generous space for your family to spread out and the smart TV’s, two of which have Apple TV’s, make it easy for everyone to enjoy their favorite shows and the 3 Bose SoundTouch speakers are Bluetooth enabled so you can listen to music throughout the house! Just off the main living room is the kitchen which features stainless steel appliances, a lovely tile back splash and tons of natural light.

The first queen guest bedroom is located between the living rooms and is outfitted with a luxurious memory foam mattress and serviced by the hall bathroom. The second living room is not only charming and full of character, but is also an efficient use of space as the sofa converts to a sleeper, allowing for an additional sleeping area. Just down the hall is a laundry room, two more queen bedrooms equipped with memory foam mattresses and the second full bathroom.
The ground floor includes an outdoor shower and outdoor storage so you can conveniently store all your beach equipment. There is off-street parking for 3 vehicles, one in the driveway and two spots under the house which are accessed from East Atlanta Street. You won’t want to leave Surf Charlotte so load up your family, beach gear, four-legged friend and come start a new Wrightsville Beach tradition!
