Description

Who doesn't love a wrap-around rocking chair porch? This is a pet friendly home known as "Nest Egg", and you'll want to invest your time enjoying the close by beach access and rustic charm from a bygone era. There are two bedrooms located on the main level (both have a Queen bed) and two more upstairs (one with a Queen and the other with 3 Twin beds). For extra guests or kids you can also use the Queen-sized sleeper sofa located in the main level Queen bedroom.

There are two full bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen to complete this home, along with a separate dining room that seats 4 - perfect for a late night game of Spades! The kitchen table also seats 4 and there are 3 barstools at the kitchen counter.

You can't beat Carolina beach for family fun and your family will want to come back often and stay at the "Nest Egg"!

***Note that owner reserves the right to occupy the lower level of the structure with at least a 24 hour notice, but this is a very rare occurrence strictly for maintenance or emergencies.***

Occupancy 11: Sun/Sun rental in Summer. Min two night stay other seasons. Pets welcome with fee.
Bedding Recap: 3 Queens, 3 Twins, 1 Queen Sofa Bed
Parking: Parking for four vehicles
Prohibited: Smoking, Grilling on Deck
Pet Policy - Dogs welcome with a nonrefundable fee that is charged per pet. Maximum of 2 dogs per reservation.

We were not happy with the house. There were many structural problems that I’m surprised would pass building codes. The steps were crooked and hard to climb. The ceilings were low and then there were ceiling fans with lights which made them lower!! The TV stand was incredible! The Tv was nailed down to pieces of wood on a cabinet! It really needs an update for the price we paid. We did like the porch and how close we were to the beach access. We were happy with our stay because we were together but not for the house.

We were at this rental 11 years ago and there has been no updates to the furnishings, bathrooms or bappliances. I love the location but the bathrooms are in serious need of updating (zip ties on shower curtain!) The kitchen is not equipped to make anything - not even a decent pan for eggs in the morning. The redid the decking with gates which is a plus for a dog friendly rental, but the stairs have a serious slant to them that makes them difficult to walk up and down. The porch has many rockers which is lovely but no chairs to put around the glass table to sit at- we had to carry the kitchen chairs out to the table to sit around. Also, there is no grill - some websites say there is a grill and some don't so be aware there is not one here! With a little more TLC for the interior furnishings and restocking the kitchen it would be a much better rental.

We provide suggestions to the owners, so that when the off season comes around, they have information to take into consideration for updates. The updated decking is a very nice feature especially for the pups! We will double check our systems and listing in regards to the grill.
