*On 05/24/2024 the HOA informed us that the elevator for buildings 2200 and 2300 requires extensive repairs to operate. At this time there is no timeline for the work to be completed.*

Don't delay in booking this wonderfully updated three bedroom, two bath 1st floor condo at Ocean Dunes. You will want to come back to "Sooner Shores" time and again once you visit this quiet and peaceful unit just steps away from the Recreation Center. With a underutilized pool just outside the front door, and gorgeous mature oaks providing shade just outside the back, you'll have trouble choosing which one to enjoy each day.

"Sooner Shores" features 3 Queen bedrooms and a set of Twin bunks so you can easily sleep 8 family members or friends. The home is nicely outfitted for meal prep or relaxing after a long day at the beach. There are Smart TVs in the bedrooms, and the Living Room has cable and streaming. There are 2 full bathrooms to accommodate the crowd, and a large back porch where you can enjoy spending quality time with those you love. There is easy parking underneath the unit for 2 cars and lots of space to store your beach chairs and toys. This building also has an elevator. Don't delay, get down to "Sooner Shores" today!

Ocean Dunes is an ideal year-round vacation spot for families! Located at the southern end of Pleasure Island, in Kure Beach next to Historic Fort Fisher, Ocean Dunes occupies one mile of beachfront with several private beach walkways. Included with your reservation is access to all the amenities Ocean Dunes offers, as well as the Recreation Center. Amenities include three outdoor pools, a children's playground, tennis courts, a basketball court and a shuffleboard court. The Recreation Center has an indoor pool, whirlpool/spa, gym, saunas, and showers. For Recreation Center Hours and Information, call 910.239.1370.

Don't miss the historic Fort Fisher area, and of course the NC Aquarium is a wonderful place to explore. You'll want to dine out at some of our outstanding restaurants and visit the Boardwalk in Carolina Beach for fireworks on Thursday Nights and Britt's Doughnuts anytime. There is a local farmers market at the lake each Saturday morning, and outdoor movies on Sunday evenings. You'll never be bored on Pleasure Island.

*Please keep in mind that if you are renting a property with a pool during the off-season, it may not be open or available. Pools are usually open from mid- May to September, but dates can vary based on weather, permits, HOA guidelines, inspections, improvements, and unforeseen events. For more detailed information on specific pools, please feel free to contact our office.

Very clean, spacious, and close to the beach! The condo has an excellent porch, which was ideal. Had a smooth and convenient check in/check out. Would highly recommend!

The condo is very nicely updated, clean, and very comfortable. It is in a great location. You are a short walk to the beach and rec center, and short drive to Carolina beach to enjoy the boardwalk. The rec center is wonderful, especially in the off-season when it is a little chilly in the evening. The pool and hot tub were clean and not crowded. The fitness center is also a nice luxury if want to grab a quick workout. Looking forward to heading back.

From check-in to check-out, this rental was wonderful! The condo is very nicely updated, comfortable, and very clean. It has a “little home” away from home feel for the entire family. The back deck is peaceful, there are TVs in every room, small games for the kids, and the kitchen is very well equipped. We specifically enjoyed the air fryer and the Keurig coffee maker. The condo is very cozy with well-organized bedrooms to accommodate 8 guests comfortably. The kids loved the bunkbeds. You can’t beat the location. The condo is located on the first level (good size carport right below) within steps of the outdoor pool, recreation center with indoor pool and hot tub, and a quick walk to the beach. Check-in was smooth and Bryant was friendly and very easy to communicate with. We also enjoyed walking to Fort Fisher park and the aquarium was a short drive away. Unfortunately, we had to leave our stay early due to Hurricane Ian. We will be back next year!

It would have been appreciated if we were warned ahead of time that the adjoining units from the fourth floor to the ground floor were being demoed and renovated during our stay. The work crew started banging at 8am. So not a relaxing time to sleep in.

Very displeased we arrived to a condo fit for 8 and had 1 shower as the masters was broken and there’s no way it was cleaned as it wasn’t allowing water to be ran. Should have been reported by housekeeping/maintenance and fixed prior to arrival. It wasn’t fun sharing one shower especially after everyone went to the beach and wanted to clean up. Further from stores than we thought we would be but still good descent location. Pool really isn’t small child friendly but not advertised as so either. We left a day early.

Hi Kristie, I'm so sorry that you had such difficulties and that you felt it necessary to leave early. Unfortunately, our housekeeping did not have a problem with the shower when they were cleaning so there was nothing to report. It sounds like it just broke when you tried to use it. I can see where we responded quickly, but had to get the proper parts to replace the cartridge on a holiday weekend. I know that this does not help you, and that it was not your fault, but I appreciate you letting us know so that the next guest was not inconvenienced. We hope that you will come back and enjoy Pleasure Island again sometime soon.

I enjoyed the stay but I didn't particularly like have a camera watching my comings and goings (only property with camera at the door). Master bathroom shower faucet did not work properly, would not turn on or once it did, it wouldn't turn OFF. Some nights, we had to take a shower in the other bathroom.

Peletha, Thank you for your feedback. The following surveillance waiver is included in the contract and was signed by you prior to your stay. "I hereby acknowledge that 2302A Surfrider Circle Kure Beach, NC 28449 may be equipped with surveillance systems: interior noise monitor,exterior noise monitor and exterior cameras. These devices have been installed for the protection of the property and to ensure noise volumes on the premises do not become disruptive to the neighboring properties or violate the noise ordinance which is strictly enforced on our area Beaches. The noise monitoring software does not record video or conversations; however, it registers noise decibels and will notify Bryant Real Estate if the noise thresholds are exceeded on the interior or exterior of the home. All video surveillance is limited to the exterior of the home for guest privacy. Disabling, obstructing, removing or otherwise tampering with these devices can result in fines up to $500.Violations of the local noise ordinance that result in police activity at the property can result in an expedited eviction. Any fines or fees incurred by the property owner due to a noise ordinance violation will be charged to the leaseholder. I hereby agree to pay for any damages to software and/or hardware caused by misuse or tampering with the devices and understand that I may be held responsible for any fines directly related to noise ordinance violations. In the event tenant does not reimburse Owner by compensating Bryant Real Estate, Agent reserves the right to obtain funds through tenant’s security deposit, if applicable, or court proceedings where the tenant agrees to reimburse for reasonable court and attorney fees.
Please note that we have staff available 24/7 to assist with any issues that may arise during your stay. Had we been notified of the issues you were having with the shower faucet, we would have gladly sent a tech to assist and remedy the situation.
