Description

As soon as you step into this property, you are going to exclaim "What a View!"

The entire top floor of the building with its unobscured ocean views is yours for the duration of your stay. As you enter, your eyes will be drawn to the expansive view from the open living room and kitchen area. Beyond the French doors is one of the biggest oceanfront decks on the island where you can enjoy sunbathing, early morning coffee, watching sunrises over the ocean and dinner during sunset. And you'll have a prime spot to watch the Thursday evening fireworks!

Off of the living room you will find the Master bedroom with a King bed, access to the deck, and en suite bathroom with standing shower. You can even see the ocean from the shower!

The second oceanfront bedroom is cozy with a Full bed, and also opens out to the deck. There is a half bath with washer and dryer down the hall.

The third bedroom is a second Master with a Queen bed, en suite bathroom with shower/tub combo, and view of Carolina Beach Lake.

The location is remarkable. If you choose to leave the deck you will find you are a few minutes walk from the Veggie Market, Carolina Beach Lake Park (great for dog walking), and all of the restaurants, stores, and entertainment available at the Carolina Beach Boardwalk. How lovely to be able to enjoy downtown without worrying about where to park!

The property is pet friendly, but the HOA has restrictions on the number of dogs (2) and weight (maximum of 70 lbs combined) permitted. A Nonrefundable pet fee per pet applies.

Occupancy: 6
Stay Requirements: Saturday to Saturday rental in Summer. Minimum of two night stay other seasons.
Bedding Configuration: 1 King, 1 Queen, 1 Full
Parking: Parking for two vehicles - one carport, one driveway. Large trucks/SUV's may not fit comfortably in carport.
Pet Policy: Dogs welcome with a nonrefundable fee that is charged per pet. Maximum of 2 dogs per reservation.
Prohibited: Smoking, RV’s, Boats, Boat Trailers, Charging Golf Carts, Mail and Packages are not able to be sent to the rental.

We enjoyed our stay at "What A View" The views are fabulous and the deck is very nice! The unit was pretty clean. We did notice some pet hair here and there in the unit. The kitchen was nice. the one issue we had with the kitchen was the refrigerator. Once you open the freezer and then close it, it then locks for 2 minutes before you can reopen it. Kind of strange and inconvenient at times. The wi-fi was spotty and not working well alot of the time. But overall we had a wonderful visit and would rent this unit again for the views alone. One other suggestion, a nicer, more comfy chair in the living room would be nice. The wicker chair is very uncomfortable and since there isn't much seating to begin with a better chair would be appreciated.

The property is pet friendly and apologize if there was still remnants of pet hair floating around the unit. Please note we have staff available 24/7 to handle any issues that arise; we would have been happy to assist with the freezer or wifi. We also work with the individual owners of our units to provide suggestions and make improvements to their properties in the off season to continually improve the property year after year. We hope you will visit again!
